VIP stands for Valued Impressions per unit Price. VIP is calculated by dividing the AIR of a publication by the insertion cost, giving the number of readers that can be bought for a single unit of currency. {VIP is in effect the reciprocal of CPT.} VIP scores are rarely quoted nowadays.

AIR – Average Issue Readership is the basic measure of a publication’s performance. It is usually abbreviated to AIR. The AIR of a publication is the best survey estimate of the number of people who read an ‘average issue’ {as opposed to a specific issue} of the publication in question.

Avem CPT-ul calculat ca rezultat al impartirii total rate card-ului (calculat pe baza CPM-urilor date de publisheri) la numarul total de hits, VIP-ul este exact pe dos: nr de hits/total rate card. Numarul de hits pe care il poti cumpara cu o singura unitate monetara. Extraordinar…:D
